It is for the reason of bringing down transportation cost as it will be more economical to fill up the void of the box with smaller sized boxes so that it will help to reduce the ratio of transportation to be shared among all boxes.
However, it does not cut ice with the retailers like us because the customer only want to buy 1 or 2 sizes of these boxes, so we ended up with odd sizes here and there....kept in shelf and awaits a rare seeker of such boxes.
